it's clicking because of the pressure trigger on the gas station pump. Check the vent tube on the tank and make sure it's not obstructed.

yeah... Sadly. I miss this car. Im driving a 2009 Camry now, with all the same stuff done to it. It's not the same either.. It's kind of a boat, lol

22 ft/lb then two rounds of 90' degree turns for each bolt. Typical Torque to yield bolt method.

Motor is fresh. Also, with stock turbo the car's power band kinda wimps out after 4-5k. Need a 20G turbo from an evo, then i'd be pushin 400whp. But sad, I sold this car in 2016. :-\

Yeah... I wanted to see it run to see how much deflection there was. I dremeled some of the belt cover away so that I could install it without removing my valve cover.

So, the sink faucet screen held up to a propane torch burning off some gasket maker. So it will hold up the exhaust gas. The egr valve is on the intake side on this car so it is hot, but not hot enough to start burning away gasket maker or copper rtv. If your in a bind, just make a plate. Probably the easiest way. Get some aluminum plate and cut it and drill holes. Use some rtv. You’ll get a check engine light but at least you have power. Until the gasket comes.

Oh and as far as how long it lasted. It lasted at least until the next smog check. I sold the car after that.

@@wagonkit ...first of all, idiot....I have 35 years of automotive technology behind me...the video is why I have to replace, and redo the work my customer attempted to do by watching an INCOMPLETE video. Fact.#1...you NEVER get under a car with jack stands , even the dumb idiots know this... Fact #2...the video was longer than the actual replacement should take. Fact #3...it showed nothing as far as the steps that it actually takes to remove the fuel tank. Fact #4..the fact youre butthurt because I pointed out that its wrong.. Fact#5...the video was INCOMPLETE When you get the bill from the guy who's car Im repairing, you'll quit making useless video's.

I also rebuilt the motor and have done much more, and had zero problems. 3: Most actual mechanics know that flaunting experience means only so much as anyone, even experienced mechanics, can still learn and still make mistakes. 4: This video was originally intended for a friend who has a corolla, and wanted to get a gist of what was involved. This video does not make me any money and simply exists. I've answered people's questions on parts that are not explained. 5: If I am an idiot, I hesitate to suggest what you are. You probably should look at some other videos of mine before making silly accusations and derogatory statements.... Have a great day! :)
